Cutest Book Cover Ever!

A cup of sugar? Sure. A ladder or tool? All the time. But chances are, a neighbor has never knocked on your door asking to borrow a cup of hope. Or have they? Sometimes we’re too busy to notice the need right next door, but it’s there.

My new book was written for you to share hope with your neighbor. In fact, these lessons were first taught in my own Neighborhood Cafe surrounded by my sweet friends’ questioning faces and hurting hearts.

The designers at Kregel did a wonderful job capturing the hope that blossoms when God’s people share His Word! When you open the cute cover of Can I Borrow a Cup of Hope? How to Find Faith for Hard Times in 1 Peter, you’ll find a book and Bible study combined. The book can be savored alone, yet is also designed for discussion, interaction, and application in countless groups like I’ve led in my living room and Women’s Ministry Bible studies.

Can I Borrow a Cup of Hope?
is available!

If you’re the one who is thirsty for a refill of Living Water, let my friends speak to how this book will quench your soul:

“Like a neighbor who welcomes you in, Amy masterfully blends words on the page—thoughtful lessons from 1 Peter—which will both comfort your soul and coax you into the saddle, ready for the trials ahead.”
Shannon Popkin, author of Control Girl and Comparison Girl

“Amy serves as a wise guide and companion on your journey to rediscover the hope that Jesus brings.”
Jennifer Rothschild, best-selling author and Bible study teacher

“…will challenge the mature Bible student and thrill the newest. As I connected my story to Peter’s in the book’s practical exercises, I had both ‘aha’ and ‘oh ouch!’ moments. This is the resource you need to fan the flame of hope.”
Amy Carroll, coauthor of Esther: Seeing Our Invisible God in an Uncertain World

I wrote this book for you and your neighbors, and I hope you love it when it makes its debut this September.

If you’d like to see if Can I Borrow a Cup of Hope? is a good fit for your ministry or your own personal bookshelf, please schedule a time for us to talk and pray about it together.

With love and hope to you and your neighbors,
